It’s OK Thursday

This post contains affiliate links.

Today I’m linking up with Amber and Neely for…It’s OK Thursday!!

It’s OK…

…that certain songs remind you of someone you hate. Is that just me?

…that you still get weak in the knees and butterflies in your stomach when you think you see your ex. Again, just me?

…that I am ridiculously excited for Cirque Dreams Holidaze this morning. I promise to post pics later…

…that those first two OK’s were about the same person.

…that I think I need an intervention for Starbucks?

…that I LOVE me some Christmas carols.

…that I am not putting up my Christmas tree this year. In my defense it’s too much work and I never see it because it’s at the front of the house. And last year I forgot to take it down until February. OOPS.

…that I still have Thanksgiving leftovers in my fridge. I should probably get on cleaning those out…

….that I am reading Rick Riordan’s The Kane Chronicles on my Kindle app for my iPhone at work. I loved the Percy Jackson books and I think this series will be just as good!!

…that I really want an iPad mini but I refuse to pay $329 for one. At that price I might as well buy a big iPad. Boo on you Apple. So much for having competitive pricing with the Kindle and Nook.

I definitely have songs that remind me of people I really dislike/hope and pray I never have to actually see again. It kills me sometimes to realize that I still think about him at all, but that’s life I guess. And I totally hear you on the iPad! My mom just got a big one and now I want one sooooo bad.

you will have to let us know if The Kane Chronicles turn out really well. I need a new series to read. I hate when a favorite book series ends because I always have a hard time moving on lol

It’s ALLLLLL okay. Especially the first two. Yiikes, how I have been dealing with THAT lately. I know ALL too well what you mean.

I’m drinking Starbucks and listening to Christmas music right now- I need an intervention from both.

I agree, I’m not impressed with the pricing of the iPad mini. I don’t need it- not even a thought- but really? I’m thinking I would just go w/ the big one!

Umm I can totally relate to the whole song reminding you of someone thing… It seems like every song has a memory connected to someone, and it’s sucky when it happens to be someone you dislike a whole lot. Lame-o.

Please stop by and say hello! :) leslyni.blogspot.com

    Have a fabulous day!

Dude, every single Beastie Boys song reminds me of this horrible guy I used to date. I didn’t really love them to begin with, but…it makes listening to the 90s radio stations like Russian roulette. But it’s totally ok, right?

I used to have a similar problem when I ran into exes (or guys that I had bad dating situations with), but I’ve been so absorbed with my now-husband that they can’t intimidate me anymore. I don’t meant to sound cheesy or cliche, but I think one day you will be with someone who makes you forget why you ever liked your exes. :)
