I got invited to join Influenster a couple weeks ago! I was super pumped but I really didn’t know much about it. Basically you pick “badges” you feel you will be good at and do the tasks assigned to those badges (nothing hard, I promise), and then you get points! The higher your points, the better. That’s the jist of it.

Imagine my surprise when a two weeks ago I got an email saying I qualified for a Beauty Box!!! Whoa!! That was FAST!! I did the tasks involved with that and then that fun little box found it’s way to my doorstep last week. AMAZING I tell you!!

I’m glad you asked…I got some pretty AMAZING products!! Some I had never heard of, some I LOVED, and some I had been wanting to try for ages. So here is what I got: Goody Spin Pins, Kiss Lashes, EBoost, NYC eyeshadow, Bath and Body Works Mahogany and Teakwood Candle, Not Your Mother’s Kinky Moves Curl Defining Hair Cream, and VitaBath Scrumptious Vanilla Sugar Body Spray.

Goody Spin Pins: I have been wanting to try these FOREVER but have been afraid I would hate them so I never bought them. Thank you Influenster for getting me hooked on these!! I do have to say they work better when my hair is curly or wavy. They just seem to hold on better. My hair is also super soft and won’t do anything when it’s straight though so maybe it just needs some texture to hang on to. I also got the pins for light hair and my hair is super dark but that is the only complaint I have.

Kiss Lashes: Haven’t tried these yet but I do have an occasion coming up where I will be dressing up so you better bet these babies will be on my eyes!!

EBoost: Haven’t tried this yet either but I sure needed it the other day at work. It’s in my work bag and I will test it this week for sure!

NYC eyeshadow: I love eyeshadow and have a TON of it but have never tried this brand before. I am super pumped to try this because it is in colors that I wear and it has the primer and illuminator in it as well. Can you say BONUS?! And at an affordable price!!

Bath and Body Works Mahogany and Teakwood Candle: I am already a self-proclaimed BBW junkie and so this was right up my ally!! I haven’t smelled this particular candle before and was excited! Let tell you right now, single ladies beware, this candle smells like a HOT MAN!!!!! I have it on my nightstand and I kept looking around wondering where the hot guy was hiding…LOL!!! I will definitely be buying this again.

Not Your Mother’s Kinky Moves Curl Defining Hair Cream: I had honestly never heard of this brand but fell in LOVE with the name immediately and the smell second. I judge all hair products on smell first and how it performs second. This particular cream smells like Grapeseed and Jasmine aka HEAVEN!!! I used it Saturday and let my fro hair dry naturally (it’s really curly/wavy naturally) and it is super soft and smells soooooo yummy!!! And I saw it at Walmart today and it’s super affordable too! Go Influenster!!

VitaBath Scrumptious Vanilla Body Spray: Not usually a scent I would go for on my body (I usually stick to floral or citrus body stuff) but this smells DIVINE!!! And made me want a cupcake…LOL!!!

I am LOVING all of my goodies and can’t wait to tell you more about the products I haven’t tried later!!! THANK YOU INFLUENSTER!!!
