5 for Five

This post contains affiliate links.

Happy Monday!! Hope everyone had a great weekend!! Today I am linking up with Jenn and Jessica for the first edition of Five for Five!!

Basically we will just be sharing our goals for the week and next Monday share whether or not we accomplished those goals and set new ones! Fun right?! Lets get started…

1. Give a stranger a compliment each day. I work in a hospital and it is so nice when my patients or their families or a random stranger gives me a compliment. So I want to do that for someone and make them feel good about the self! I love random compliments!

2. Put together the bookshelf in my front bedroom. It has been there since May y’all. That is terrible!! I keep saying I will put it together but I never do. Now that I have told y’all I have to do it to be accountable!

3. Take a multivitamin everyday. I’m stealing this from Jenn and Jessica but I really feel better when I do.

4. Take Sophie for a real walk. I am so bad about just letting her loose in my backyard and run but lets face it…I need the exercise and she needs to leet some energy out after being in her crate all day.

5. Call my Grandmother. I recently started calling her on Sunday nights but I forgot last night!! Oops!! So I really need to call her…

Alright… Now lets see if I can do this stuff!!!! I’m accountable to y’all now!!!

THANK you for linking up with us! So happy to have you as part of the FIRST five for five Monday! I’ve really found that sharing them with the ‘world’…or my world at least ;) keeps me accountable. LOVE the idea of giving a stranger a compliment everyday- that is just fantastic. I think we’d ALL be better off if we did that everyday :) I’m big on writing to my grandmother so your goal of calling yours is close to my heart- love it! Thanks again for linking up and spreading the word!

I love your first goal! That is such a neat one that most people don’t even think about. I know I always feel good about myself when someone compliments me. Oh, and I have a box of books that has been sitting in our closet since moved into our current apartment…last December…and we are about to move again, so May is nothing ;)

I completely agree with you about complimenting strangers! I always think “Oh, that girl’s handbag is adorable” or “I love her hairstyle”, but I never think to say it out loud. Then recently, I had a stranger tell me that I had a beautiful smile, and it completely made my day. I definitely try to compliment someone or do a randomly nice thing to strangers each day :) Found you through the giveaway, new follower!
