My absolute favorite fall/winter food is soup!! I love to cook and try new recipes do today I thought I would share with you one of my favorites…Chicken Noodle Soup. Now I had never made chicken noodle soup but I know what I like in mine so I took a recipe from Pinterest and one from Recipes.com and sort of combined them and made my own version. I am also bad about throwing things in although that’s not always a bad thing…LOL! Anyway, here it goes:
Chicken Noodle Soup
Ingredients:
Chicken breasts (I used a large package of thin cut breasts, you can use whatever)
Large box Chicken Broth
Cream of Chicken Soup
Cream of Celery Soup
2 medium Onions, diced
3 Carrots, diced
3 stalks of Celery, diced
Minced Garlic, a tablespoon
1 bag frozen Corn
Salt & Pepper to taste
Garlic Salt to taste
Egg Noodles (I used the whole bag but I like my soup thick)
Instructions:
Add everything to crockpot except egg noodles
Cook on High for 2-3 hours until chicken is done
Take chicken out to cool and shred it
Return chicken to soup and cook on Low for another 2 hours
Add noodles and cook until they are done (should be under an hour)
All done…enjoy!!
You can modify this any way you like…adding things, skipping things you don’t like and so on. I just did it the way I liked and thought it turned out pretty good!!
