What I’ve Been Reading Lately

First of all let me just say that I am nosey. Secondly I love to read blog posts about what other people are reading to get good book recommendations!! So today I thought I would do that same and share with you what I’ve been reading lately…

So far this summer I have read SkinnyDipping (Bethenny Frankel) Deadlocked (Charlaine Harris), the 50 Shades Trilogy (E. L. James), and Insurgent (Veronica Roth). I bought The Next Best Thing (Jennifer Weiner) the other day but haven’t started it yet.

I have also been reading some books on my Kindle for my IPhone at work. I read the Percy Jackson series (Rick Riordan) and it was amazing!! Can’t believe I haven’t read them before! There is one more of those I’m going to read but it doesn’t come out until October. Boo! :)

I also read The Giver Trilogy (Lois Lowry). They remind me of the Divergent and Maze Runner books but the were written way before both of those. I loved her Number the Stars book when I was younger so I knew I would probably like these too.

I read Southern Charm (Tinsley Mortimer) and actually loved it! I wasn’t too sure about this one because it’s written by a socialite who was on a short lived reality series but I freaking LOVED her book!! It’s loosely based on her life and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I just finished Firefly Lane (Kristin Hannah) and cried my eyes out!! I can’t believe I haven’t read anything of hers before!!! I’m currently reading her book True Colors. Love her!!
