100 Things

In honor of my 100th blog post I thought I would do a 100 Things About Me List. I think this is a fun way to get to know me a little better and fun to do…..here we go!

1. My name is Ricci. I wasn’t named after anyone and it isn’t short for anything. I like it.
2. I am obsessed with anything ruffled or glittery or sequined.
3. I LOVE ranch dressing, but it has to be Hidden Valley.
4. I actually like going to the dentist and getting my teeth cleaned.
5. I love getting snail mail hand written cards and letters. It makes going to the mailbox fun!
6. I love social media…..blogging, facebook, and twitter.
7. I am obsessed with checking people.com Celebrity gossip never gets old.
8. I am a proud member of Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority.
9. I only use OPI and Essie nail polish. Mostly because of the names.
10. I LOVE to read and hope to own a house with a library one day.
11. If I wasn’t a respiratory therapist I think I would like to be a teacher.
12. I am always singing something in my head. Today it is Nicki Minaj Super Bass. Yesterday it was Criss Cross Jump.
13. I LOVE going to the movies!
14. I want to travel the world one day.
15. I am a clean freak.
16. I am a little OCD on home organization. Everything has to have a place.
17. I could honestly eat chips and salsa every day of my life and never get tired of it.
18. I love NYC.
19. I love my Arkansas Razorbacks!!!!!
20. Pink is my favorite color.
21. Teal is a close second.
22. I love anything monogrammed.
23. I know how to knit…scarves. And that’s it…lol.
24. I don’t really like coffee but I LOVE a Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks.
25. I really want to hurry up and meet my Prince Charming…although I am happy to be single.
26. I don’t understand the way guys think.
27. I lost my Dad in a car wreck when I was 6.
28. I lost my Mom to cancer when I was 18.
29. I have an AMAZING extended family.
30. I love Lemon EOS lip balm.
31. I also love Lemon lip cream from Bath and Body Works.
32. I love the smell of cinnamon.
33. I can’t live without my Chi hair straightener.
34. My absolute favorite perfume is Viva La Juicy by Juicy.
35. I am addicted to Pinterest.
36. Pretty much the only coke I drink is Diet Coke…it is my crack.
37. I say coke referring to any carbonated beverage…what can I say, I live in the south!
38. I would rather have cupcakes than regular cake.
39. I have learned that a really good pair of jeans is all about pocket placement. I’m for real ya’ll!
40. When I’m nervous I play with my hair.
41. I love the beach. Any beach.
42. I love forehead kisses.
43. I love buying shoes…but I have super high arches and wide feet so most shoes are uncomfortable.
44. As much as I love the look of high heels (and I own a ton of them) I would rather wear ballet flats.
45. I count Hobby Lobby as one of my all time favorite stores.
46. As well as Maurices, Target,  and Sephora.
47. If I really like a shirt I buy it in every color.
48. I adore my Erin Condren Planner….again with the OCD organization thing….lol
49. My list of favorite authors includes Nicholas Sparks, Jodi Picoult, Candace Bushnell, VC Andrews, Jennifer Weiner, John Grisham………etc.
50. I like books that come in a series and am always sad when they end.
51. I am not a very patient person.
52. I put the PRO in procrastination.
53. I want to get my masters dregree but can’t decide what to get it in.
54. I love my job but with I had a “normal” job that I got to dress up for everyday.
55. Even though I am 28, own my own house, have a real job…etc. I still don’t feel like an adult.
56. I try to find humor in everything.
57. I have seen West Side Story on Broadway.
58. I got my first gray hair on my 26th birthday.
59. I now color my hair every 8 weeks.
60. New Kids on the Block was my first concert.
61. I have never broken a bone.
62. I love Kathy Van Zeeland bags. Not only are they sup cute but they are affordable too!
63. I played basketball and softball in high school. I wasn’t really very good at either.
64. I spent my first four years of college at Southern Arkansas University, home of the Muleriders.
65. At SAU you don’t tailgate at football games, you mule-gate. LOL.
66. I changed my major no less than four times and finally settled on biology.
67. I went to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences for Respiratory school.
68. My two brothers have both served in the armed forces, one as a marine and one in the army.
69. I have the cutest, sweetest malti-poo puppy, Sophie!
70. My hair has been all different colors…blonde, red, and my natural brown. I like it dark brown best.
71. Nothing relaxes me more than a good pedicure.
72. I took ballet, tap, jazz, and gymnastics growing up.
73. I love to dress up….too bad I have to wear scrubs at work.
74. My job still doens’t feel like a grown-up job. Maybe because of the scrubs?
75. I wish I had an 8-5, hoidays, weekends, and snow days off job.
76. I can’t watch when I have blood drawn or gets shots, I get sick to my stomach!
77. I am deathly afraid of driving in the rain.
78. Every time I walk down a flight of stairs I get this mental image of myself tripping and falling all the way down and breaking my front two teeth out.
79. I also have a recurring dream about swimming underwater and knowing that I’m dreaming and telling myself it’s ok to breathe underwater because I’m dreaming. Did that make any sense?? LOL!
80. I use LOL and …. a lot when I text message.
81. I would rather text message that talk on the phone.
82. I am incredibly sarcastic.
83. Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody is one of my favorite songs.
84. I can rock out some Guitar Hero!
85. I want to be in Times Square for New Years Eve at least once in my life.
86. I want to live in a little house on the beach one day. And ride a cute bicycle with a basket.
87. I also want to live in NYC at some point.
88. One of my favorite tv shows is Sex and the City. But I didn’t start watching it until it went off the air.
89. I love when books are made into movies, but only when it follows the book exactly.
90. I don’t know that I believe in love at first sight.
91. I do however believe in lust at first sight….LOL!
92. I am a sucker for a tall guy with dark hair and blue eyes!
93. My closet is color coded….OCD again….SMH.
94. I wish I was one of those people who actually likes to work out.
95. I am my own worst enemy.
96. My guilty pleasures include reading Tori Spellings books, watching her show (she’s actually really funny!), and watching MTV’s Jersey Shore and Teen Mom.
97. I love tanning in the summer but I am deathly afraid of skin cancer.
98. I can’t wait to get married and have babies….one day.
99. I already have my future baby names picked out. And have my wedding practically planned. LOL
100. I am glad to be finished with this list!!

This turned out to be kind of fun…even though it took me a couple days to complete. I hope you have had fun reading and know a little more about me now!
