Burned

Today I went to the pool for the second time this summer. That seems crazy to me. I’m usually at the pool everyday I’m off work but not this summer and today I paid for that. Today I got burned.

I went once early in the summer but it was waaaay too hot and a little crowded so I didn’t go back before I moved. There is a pool at the country club by my subdivision and I’m a member but every time I plan on going it always winds up raining! Boo.

But today was the perfect pool day. Not a cloud in the sky or anyone else out there all day. Pure bliss! I was out there from 10 this morning until about 3:30 this afternoon. It was so relaxing that I didn’t even realize I had been there that long…lol!

Not going to the pool all summer has resulted in me being a very white girl, however I am now a shade if bright red usually only found on a cooked lobster…HA on me! I’m lucky that I have the kind of skin that will go from red to tan in a day or two so.I’m not too worried. Just a little uncomfortable…for now!
