Worst Week Ever

So…not only am I a terrible blogger but I have had the official WORST WEEK EVER!! Yuck! To start off I finally had my pre-construction meeting with my builders a couple weeks ago (2 weeks after it was supposed to happen) and I was told my house would be started Monday April 4. So imagine my surprise when I finally make it out to my lot on the 10 and see that absolutely NOTHING had been done!!!! I was LIVID!!!

I called my Dad, my Step-mom, and my realtor. Thank goodness the realtor was sick and didn’t answer his phone because he would have gotten an earfull!!! When I finally talked to him yesterday he told me that since I had to change my lot (long story) they had to put in all new orders for everything and that pushed my house back by about 2 weeks. Not a problem..if only someone had frickin picked up a phone and called me!!!! Grrrr….

Anyway…enough with the house drama. Last week was a bad week for my family as well. My little brother’s wife got hit by a car while crossing a street chasing after their dog and had to have emergency surgery on her broken femur and pelvis and then my Step-mom had to have surgery Friday to remove some kidney stones. Everyone will live and be ok thank you God!! But all in all not a great week to be a member of my family.

Well now that the ranting is over I guess I will get back to work. I do love having a place to get stuff off my chest though. Good night all!
