Well boys and girls this has been a pretty busy week for me! I officially went back to work Christmas night! And I was excited! LOL…6 weeks off is a long time! I thought the time would be sooooo slow and just drag on but it actually flew by! I guess because I was off during the holidays it seemed I was on the go quite a bit. But some days did seem to drag by and these were the days I missed work. Or just missed having something to do or somewhere to be…you know what I mean? Well anyway, I am back and happy to be here! Note: I am posting this at 1:30 in the morning during a slow time in the NICU…lol!
I think I mentioned earlier that I am a respiratory therapist. I absolutely LOVE my job! I have been doing this for about 2 1/2 years now, ever since I graduated in May of 2008. I work in the NICU, adult ICU, and the ER. My favorite right now is the NICU. I love working with the teeny tiny babies and watching them grow big and fat and healthy and be able to go home!!Time to talk about the ta-tas! I am extremely happy to report that the swelling seems to FINALLY be going down and I now have semi-normal looking “girls”!! Also, the opening under the left side that my dissolvable stitches were coming out of is finally closing and looks a thousand times better!! There are no more stitches sticking out hallelujah!! I am extremely happy with my results so far. I have to admit that I was kind of skeptical of how things would look in the end after seeing some before and after pictures online that looked perfect but I guess I have to remember that those would be the pictures that would be posted, not some bruised and swollen and extremely odd looking ta-tas. Because if that was the case then no one would do this. Or at least I wouldn’t have…lol. Well I am just happy that my complication is resolving and I cant wait until a few months from now when I can buy cute bras!! Victoria’s Secret here I come!!
Well, I guess I better get off here and do some work…lol! Hope everyone has a great week and a fabulous new year!
