Good morning!! I hope everyone had an awesome weekend because I sure did! I got to go home to my parents and do Christmas with my Grandma! I love this time of year…getting to see all my family, eating all of that good food, catching up on all of the gossip…LOL! Today is also a good day, today is my little brother’s 22nd birthday! That is sooooo hard to believe! I remember when he was born and our Dad brought him to the window of the nursery so everyone could see him and he was just a kicking and screaming!
Speaking of Christmas, this year my immediate family (parents, brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews) is doing ours on the 23rd! I can’t wait! We always have tons of yummy food and we just hang out all night and watch the sweet babies open their presents (they are the only ones we buy for)! This year I am going down on Wednesday after my Dr appointment and am going to help cook all day Thursday!! I am bringing spicy crackers and cake balls!! I love the spicy crackers and am doing regular saltines and cheese nips! The cake balls are a new recipe I’m trying and I hope they turn out ok, if they do I will be posting the recipe for sure!
I mentioned that I have a Dr appointment on Wednesday and I know in my last post I was super exited because I was doing fantastic and wasn’t supposed to go back to see my surgeon until January. Well…I had a minor complication last week that freaked me out so bad I went back to the Dr last Wednesday and now I have to go back in a week…yuck!
To make a long story short I have a lot of internal stitches and the some on the bottom of my left boob have decided to come out instead of dissolve, so you can see why I was freaked out! The last time I went (the one where I was cleared until January) I had a little sore area under each breast but the Dr told me this was normal and to put neosporin on the spots and it would be fine.
Well the right side is doing great with the neosporin but the left decided to blow up!! LOL! So now I am having to put silvadene on the left side and neosporin on the right side and gauze for everyone! And it actually seems to be working!! I am soooooo excited! The left side looks 100% better! I have still had some stitches fall out and I can see a tiny spot next to the big spot where another stitch is sticking out but I hope that when I go back this Wednesday he will just clip those stitches so I can just get on with my life :) So I will let you know how this coming Wednesday goes and hopefully I will have fabulous news to post!
Well, I hope everyone has a great week!! Merry Christmas!
