It’s Wednesday and you know what that means…it’s time for the next installment of my Summer Skincare Series!! Today I will be sharing with you my favorite overnight moisturizers…topics previously covered were facial cleansers, cleansing oils, exfoliators, masks, toners, and daytime moisturizers!
Now I am calling these overnight moisturizers but one is an oil and a couple are masks but they are all products that I use on my face overnight…though not all at the same time! HA!
For reference I have combination skin that is pretty normal to dry and slightly oily in my t-zone so the products I talk about and use are best for those skin types. I have also chosen a mix of high and low end products so that there is something for everyone!
Let’s get to it!!
fresh Black Tea Firming Overnight Mask / Apricots Overnight Moisturizing Mask / Tarte Maracuja Oil / Garnier Ultra-Lift Miracle Sleeping Cream / The Body Shop Oils of Life Intensely Revitalizing Sleeping Cream / Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask
ONE. fresh Black Tea Firming Overnight Mask By far the most expensive of this roundup, the fresh Black Tea Firming Overnight Mask is a mask (duh) that contains black tea ferment, black tea extract, blackberry leaf extract, lychee seed extract, Belle de Nuit extract, peptides, and hyaluronic acid. This mask is intensely moisturizing and of course I fell in love with it, I only had a sample at the time, and then I saw the price tag! HA! While I love love love this mask I just don’t see myself purchasing this on a regular basis. That being said, it is probably one of the best overnight masks I have ever used.
TWO. Apricots Overnight Moisturizing Mask First of all I love Perfectly Posh products! This Apricots Overnight Moisturizing Mask contains apricot extract, tangerine and lime extracts, rosewood, mango, and aloe vera (among other amazing ingredients). This mask promotes cellular rejuvenation and smells amazing! It’s pretty thick but doesn’t feel heavy at all. This is truly an amazing mask at a much better price point!
THREE. Tarte Maracuja Oil Not a moisturizer or a mask but an oil, this Maracuja Oil by Tarte is my absolute favorite facial oil! I use it right before bed after I have washed my face really well. I slather my face and neck with this Vitamin C enriched Maracuja Oil and go to sleep! It doesn’t leave your face feeling greasy or anything and it won’t make you break out. This stuff is basically liquid gold and if you aren’t using any kind of facial oil then I would highly recommend this one!
FOUR. Garnier Ultra-Lift Miracle Sleeping Cream I love all of the Garnier products that I have used so far and this one is no exception. This sleeping cream is infused with Lavender Essential Oil that will promote some really amazing sleep! Other amazing ingredients are rare plant extracts and adenosine that help boosting cell renewal to regenerate skin¿s surface layer, helping to repair skin¿s moisture barrier and reduce wrinkles boosting cell renewal to regenerate your skin’s surface layer, helping to repair your skin’s moisture barrier and reduce wrinkles. Overall this is a fantastic sleeping cream foe a fantastic price.
FIVE. The Body Shop Oils of Life Intensely Revitalizing Sleeping Cream I got this sleep cream to review a couple months ago and have seriously loved it and have been using it ever since then. This sleeping cream is more like a gel and y’all know I love gel moisturizers!! It also has black cumin oil from Egypt, rosehip oil from Chile, and camellia oil from China. To see my full review you can check that out here.
SIX. Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask I know, I know, another Clinique product! Laugh all you want but I can’t help it, I love me some Clinique! The products are amazing and for every skin type and the price is always on point. I have used this overnight mask off and on for the past couple of years and I swear by it during both summer and winter because it’s super moisturizing and really makes my skin feel hydrated!
So that’s it for my favorite overnight moisturizers! I hope you can find something here that can help you!!

The Body Shop products are always great for the skin. I haven’t tried the Oils of Life range yet but I love their hemp offerings.

Finding a good moisturizer can be so hard to do. These sound like great ones to try, I know as I have gotten older finding more products has been necessary.

I’ve never tried the overnight ones before, but I definitely want to. I think I would start with the Black Tea one.

I love so many that I probably shouldn’t name them all, BUT one oil that I love using at night would either have to be the Sunday Riley Luna Oil OR Jurlique Rose Oil. Both are totally different, but amazing! Let’s not forget Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate! So good!
I love first aid beauty and one of my favorite products from them is their overnight masque. The name is slipping my mind right now, but it’s terrific!

My daughter is starting to explore products for her skin and I am glad she is doing that because I never got to when I was younger. An overnight moisturizer sounds great!

I need to use a moisturizer on my face at night. I do use coconut oil on my face (it is in my sugar scrub). It keeps my face soft for the most part.
Nicole Etolen says
Oh, what a nice review. I had my favorite moisturizer too but I like to try that.

Oh these all look wonderful. My overnight ones all have some heavier component, like a serum or an acid added to them! I am interested in the Oils of Life.
