Time for your weekly brain dump!!! Who is excited about the Bath and Body Works Semi-Annual Sale??!! I am!!!!! I have already professed my love of anything that smells good (including their wallflowers) and so I was pumped to go and stock up. I had a flyer that said all wallflowers were $5 June 10-15 which is the norm and so Saturday I got up an hour early for work, got my stuff together, and headed to the mall.
Imagine my surprise when only “select” wallflowers were $5. They were the same ones that were on sale online and that I didn’t need (they were fall scents). I want summer scents people!! I asked the manager about it because my flyer said all wallflowers in store were $5 and she said nope. They lied. Imagine that. So I got a couple fall scents and got some classic body sprays and lotions that were $3, they make great gifts, and stocked up on my favorite lemon lip balm. But my overall feeling of the whole thing was just disappointment. Plain and simple. Boo.
On the bright side…I found out that I am addicted to Backyard Burger. Thanks Charlotte. She took me there after my surgery and ever since I have been craving it. So after the big BBW disappointment I treated myself to a burger and seasoned fries. Yum.
I also went by the house Saturday morning. The walls and trim are primed and ready to paint and the form is layed for my sidewalk and front porch.
I have decided that I may be slightly high maintenance. I blame my friend Libby for my latest girl thing I have to do. I already get my hair cut and colored every 8 weeks, get pedicured on a regular basis, and won’t leave my house to go somewhere unless my legs are shaved, hair is done, and I have my face on. I thought that was just part of being southern but I have decided I am now high maintenance. Now I get my nails “shellaced” every 2 weeks. I already blogged about how great this stuff was after the first time I tried it and now I have had it for about a month and I absolutely love it!! It makes my nails so hard and super shiny!! LOVE IT!
Well that’s about all I can think of that’s new with me….for now.
