I am obsessed with things that smell good. Always have been, always will be! I remember when I was little I made my Mom smell my hair each night after I washed it because I loved the smell of shampoo. I love how certain smells can evoke certain memories. I will always associate the smell of mulberries with my Mom because that was the scent she used in our house. The smell of lemons reminds me of a clean house because I use pledge and lemon pine sol when I clean. I love smells.
I am obsessed with Bath and Body Works Wallflowers. At the 2005 spring semi-annual sale I bought my first one. It was Black Raspberry Vanilla and just one made my entire apartment smell good. I have been hooked ever since. They are having a sale this weekend because it’s Memorial Day weekend and I bought a few goodies for my new house. I usually only buy during the semi-annual sale and get enough to last until the next one (Unless they are having a sale or get seasonal scents in). Sad, I know…LOL!
I can’t wait to get this one in my new house!! It’s going to smell soooooo good!! I also love Pink Sangria, Island Margaritas, Black Raspberry Vanilla, and anything with coconut in it for summer. For fall/winter I love Pumpkin, Cinnamon, Brown Sugar and Fig, Apple Cider, Carmel Apple, and Carmel. I think I love the fall/winter scents the best. They make your house smell delicious!!
I have also recently discovered Scentsy. Scentsy is a wickless candle product that comes as a scented wax you melt in a warmer. The warmers come in all sizes and colors/designs. I have two of their warmers (brown giraffe for living room, and black and white zebra for bedroom) and love to pair their scents with my Wallflowers. Right now I have the Island Margarita Wallflower and the Beach Scentsy. I have the Beach Scentsy Car Fragrance also. Makes my car smell sooooo good!! Their French Kiss smells exactly like the Brown Sugar and Fig from BBW. LOVE it!!
Well I guess that’s all I have time for right now. Yes I am a crazy person, I just wrote an entire blog on things I love to smell…hahaha!! Until next time…
